PEOPLE AT WORK ONLINE is a collection of my articles on career concerns and workplace issues since I started my second career as a writer and editor in 1997. Some of these articles were published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Metro Working Mom Magazine, Asian Quality Magazine and Management Systems Magazine. This site also includes my blog and favorite videos on work and life.

An “accidental” human resource professional, I have been in working in human resources management and organizational development for more than 30 years.  A Journalism graduate, I furthered my studies by completing a Master’s in Business Administration degree in 1989 from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business in Makati, Philippines and a Ph.D. degree in Leadership Studies in 2016 from the Ateneo School of Government. In 2007, I started my third career, this time in the academe, and taught at Assumption College, Makati,  the Graduate School of the Development Academy of the Philippines in Ortigas, Pasig City and Victoria University Switzerland (Philippine Campus). I am currently teaching at the Ateneo de Manila University.

I am a believer in continuous learning and  I hope to complete the circle of my life by utilizing my God-given strengths to be a more effective communicator in the service of learning and human development.

  1. Hello,
you wrote a review of one of my books, Emotional Intelligence at Work. My new book, Performing Under Pressure: the Science of doing your best when it matters most (Crown) was listed on the March 15th NY Times bestsellers list. Based on your review of my other book, I know you will find this one to be very interesting and useful. I am hoping you will do a article on it. It has already been given very good reviews in Financial Times, Success, and others.

    Hope to hear from you,
    Hank Weisinger
